Erasmus Mundus at Villa Vigoni
From 26-28 of November, the workshop Dictionaries for the Future – The Future of Dictionaries. Challenges to Lexicography in a Digital Society will take place at Centro Italo-Tedesco per l’Eccellenza Europea / German-Italian Center for European Excellence. In the Villa Vigoni at Lake Como, 21 well-known researchers from universities, research institutes and publishing houses in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland will discuss this important topic and develop pioneering ideas and concepts on handling strategies concerning data provided by the internet. Furthermore, they will give new impulses in terms of the research situations at universities. The workshop is organized by Prof. Dr. Stefan Schierholz (Department of German studies, FAU) and Erasmus Mundus EMLex director of Università degli Studi Roma Tre, Prof. Dr. Martina Nied Curcio, as well as her Italian colleagues Prof. Dr. Laura Balbiani (Università della Valle d’Aosta) and Dr. Anne-Kathrin Gärtig-Bressan (Università degli Studi di Trieste).
