Dictionary Day at the Université de Lorraine: unfortunately, due to the French train strike, Henri Béjoint was not able to participate in the event. Thus the whole day was dedicated to the compilation of an article of the Dictionnaire Étymologique Roman (DÉRom): a hard task, but a very rewarding one, especially as said article, Proto-Romance */ˈgUtt-a/ f.n. “drop; gout; [not even] a small quantity (negative polarity item)” will be published in 2020 on the DÉRom web site, then in 2022 in the fourth volume of the paper dictionary. Chien-An, Jodelle, José Carlos, Karina, and Lola went home exhausted, but proud!
