Dictionary Day at USC

On December 15, the USC students celebrated the “Dictionary Day” at the USC by visiting the Galician Language Institute (ILG). The director, Xosé Luís Regueira, and the secretary, Maruxa Álvarez de la Granja, of the research centre gave a historical overview of the ILG and presented a collection of projects and resources for the study of the Galician language as well as for Galician and its relationship with other languages. We also visited the building, including the library, and the students received some Christmas presents. It was an enriching experience, as always. This centre is a great place for research, that excels also on the human side of the research process. Many thanks to the ILG, once again!
