EMLex consortium meeting May 2022
From May 18 to 22, 2022, the first EMLex meeting of the year took place in Göttingen, Germany. On May 19, the meeting started with a guided tour of the historical Göttingen State and University Library. Followed in the afternoon by the public EMLex colloquium “Social ideology in dictionaries”, in which the speakers Oskar Reichmann (Göttingen), Rufus H. Gouws (Stellenbosch), and Hans C. Boas (Austin) held their presentations in the beautiful auditorium of the university at the Wilhelmsplatz. On May 20, the EMLex consortium meeting took place in the Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities. The last day concluded the meeting with an excursion to the historical Grenzlandmuseum in Teistungen, and the Grimmworld in Kassel. Participants were the students of the Herbert-Ernst-Wiegand-cohort, the EMLex directors, as well as new and old associated partners of the EMLex. The meeting was organized by the EMLex office and the Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
